First Abilene Thanks Outgoing Board Chair, Zane Dennis
April marked the end of Board Chairmanship for Zane Dennis. Zane will remain as a Board of Directors member. He has done an outstanding job shaping this organization for the past eight years to what it is today. First Abilene thanks Zane for an extraordinary work and leadership skills he provided to our Board of Directors and company.
As your term as Board Chairman has recently come to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your hard work and commitment in helping build a strong and prosperous organization.
Over the last eight years, your stewardship of First Abilene has been characterized by innovative ideas, strategic thinking and, most valuable, your tireless efforts to increase the credibility and visibility of First Abilene in our community. The resulting goodwill has become a huge asset to us.
Specifically, we want to express our gratitude to you for helping First Abilene accomplish the following over the last eight years:
- A 48% increase in membership.
- An increase in assets of $35,806,635.
- A 100% increase in consumer loans.
- Implementation of online and mobile banking.
- Parking lot addition to the Pine location in 2011.
- Remodel and grand re-opening of the Catclaw location in 2016.
From a personal point of view, your warm friendship and support have been very important to us throughout the 35 years that you have been a member. Your energy and devotion to the role are peerless and you leave a better and stronger footing for those who follow you.
